When Cheikha Haddou, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 10 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mouloud Doutté was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 15th minute, but Mouloud Doutté got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Progreso hanging dry this time. 19 minutes into the game, Hocine Belfaa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Progreso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lenoir FC the free kick. A collision led to Progreso getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Hocine Belfaa hit a great ball. The long shot by Mohamed Cerbah in the 20th minute really tested Mouloud Doutté's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Nabil Bouzid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mouloud Doutté stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faouzi Derrida's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Noureddine Mami charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noureddine Mami the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lenoir FC booed when Progreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noureddine Mami didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chaba Aboulker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ferhat Hadjadj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Chaba Aboulker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Progreso's supporters rose to their feet, but Chaba Aboulker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lenoir FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cheikha Haddou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chaba Aboulker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferhat Hadjadj having to interfere. Lenoir FC's Ferhat Hadjadj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nabil Bouzid in the 93rd minute of play. Chaba Aboulker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferhat Hadjadj having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
