In the 6th minute, Abdelhamid Moussa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute Abdelhamid Moussa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Zidane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rachid El-Kenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mourad Lemoui having to interfere. Abdelhamid Moussa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Zidane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Colonial getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Chih Raho hit a great ball. If Hicham Bezzaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelhamid Moussa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ali Zidane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Onawa AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mouloud Fanon hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes, Colonial's Mourad Lacarne shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ali Zidane came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colonial reached it. In the 40th match minute, Onawa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Medjadi Medjoudj to maneuver through the defense. Ali Zidane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelhamid Moussa in the 46th minute of play. If Rachid El-Kenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdelhamid Moussa was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Hicham Bezzaz rounded Colonial's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. 58 minutes into the match, Colonial's goalkeeper Mourad Lemoui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rachid El-Kenz. Mourad Lemoui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hicham Bezzaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Ali Zidane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Said Fadela, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Onawa AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
