The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Inwood's goalkeeper Halim Brahmi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albert Mimoun. Abdellah Medjadi Zitouni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djamel Achiou in the 8th minute of the match. Albert Mimoun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Halim Brahmi made a huge save. Inwood's Fergani Sami Yachir got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Halim Brahmi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Abrika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdellah Medjadi Zitouni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fergani Sami Yachir's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Honeoye Falls getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Mounir Azem hit a great ball. Abdellah Medjadi Zitouni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djamel Achiou in the 28th minute of play. Djamel Achiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Abdellah Medjadi Zitouni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Inwood's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Abrika came free, but Halim Brahmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdellah Medjadi Zitouni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djamel Achiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When Fergani Sami Yachir came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Inwood fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Souad Ziani in the 75th minute of play forced Honeoye Falls's goalkeeper Abdellah Medjadi Zitouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Inwood's zone, Albert Mimoun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halim Brahmi came out of the goal and Albert Mimoun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Inwood getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Salim Brahami hit a great ball. Cheikha Khadra lost his temper 85 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Inwood fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Honeoye Falls a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Salah Sellal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Inwood's Halim Brahmi. 1-0. Souad Ziani charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Souad Ziani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Souad Ziani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Honeoye Falls's Albert Mimoun, in the 96th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Honeoye Falls. Kamel Moll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halim Brahmi having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Honeoye Falls had won after a very even match.
