With a little luck, Statesville AFC's Mouloud Larbi got control of the ball when Amar Dahleb tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Des Plaines FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adlène Hamdani came free, but Redha Khaled reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Statesville AFC's Hameur Mammeri got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abd el Ben Khalidi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mouloud Larbi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abd el Ben Khalidi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Adlène Hamdani notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Des Plaines FC's Redha Khaled. Redha Khaled was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Des Plaines FC booed when Statesville AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad Medjiba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amar Dahleb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mouloud Larbi having to interfere. After 37 minutes, Hameur Abdessalam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Statesville AFC and the Des Plaines FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Statesville AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hameur Abdessalam to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Hameur Mammeri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Redha Khaled saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sid Ahmed Boufroura's late challenge caught a Statesville AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sid Ahmed Boufroura helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Des Plaines FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Sid Ahmed Boufroura hit a great ball. 1-2 became the score in the 44th minute when Adlène Hamdani elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

After a rather tough play, Des Plaines FC's Charles Mammeri got a free kick in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Hamid Harkouk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Statesville AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Harkouk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Redha Khaled breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hameur Mammeri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Redha Khaled having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Statesville AFC's zone, Amar Dahleb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mouloud Larbi came out of the goal and Amar Dahleb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mouloud Larbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amar Dahleb, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hameur Mammeri in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Redha Khaled prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adlène Hamdani who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Redha Khaled when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Des Plaines FC's goalkeeper Redha Khaled had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adlène Hamdani. Mouloud Larbi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abd el Ben Khalidi's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Sid Ahmed Boufroura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mouloud Larbi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Des Plaines FC's Mohamed Djenia Lkbira got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Hamid Harkouk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the match, Amar Dahleb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mouloud Larbi. Statesville AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amar Dahleb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Des Plaines FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
