Abdel Djebar hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Boughera Sifi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cornelia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leesville the free kick. Leesville's Fadhil Touhami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelaziz Merah in the 75th minute of play. If Abdelaziz Merah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nouara Mohamed hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Abdelaziz Merah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Fadhil Touhami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brahim Morceli's late challenge caught a Cornelia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brahim Morceli helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Mourad Meniri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cornelia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mourad Meniri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fadhil Touhami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abdelaziz Merah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fadhil Touhami read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Leesville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nouara Mohamed to maneuver through the defense. Ismaël Kourichi charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
