In the 10th minute, Hocine Abbas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hocine Abbas came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Moline Acres AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hocine Abbas couldn't finish the play. Abdelhani Larfaoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maamar Djebbour in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Smail Meriem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Maamar Djebbour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponchatoula's supporters rose to their feet, but Maamar Djebbour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelhani Larfaoui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hocine Abbas struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Mehdi Messaoud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moline Acres AFC. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Mehdi Messaoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdel Hamid Djebbour in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdel Hamid Djebbour to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Moline Acres AFC's Jussef Aboulker got a free kick in the 51st minute. Ahmed Ammour charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmed Ammour the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Ponchatoula got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Ammour. 54 minutes into the game, Ahmed Ammour cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Abdelhani Larfaoui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hocine Abbas got free with Mehdi Messaoud in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Mehdi Messaoud managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Moline Acres AFC's Hocine Abbas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 65 minutes into the match, Moline Acres AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Ammour came free, but Abdelhani Larfaoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ahmed Ammour managed to get in a good position for a shot. If Maamar Djebbour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ponchatoula booed when Moline Acres AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jussef Aboulker didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Ahmed Ammour got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Maamar Djebbour put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Abdelhani Larfaoui. Maamar Djebbour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Abdelhani Larfaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ponchatoula's Maamar Djebbour got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
