François Rimitti came out of the goal and Mahmoud Bilal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdellah Medjadi Boulebda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Abd al-Asis Lelouch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abdellah Medjadi Boulebda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute of the match Nasreddine Larbi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abd al-Asis Lelouch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Abdel Khaled fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without François Rimitti having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Willits's goal looked a bit too open when Cheb Zarabi came free, but Abd al-Asis Lelouch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abd al-Asis Lelouch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdellah Medjadi Boulebda in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Cheb Zarabi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Abd al-Asis Lelouch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abd al-Asis Lelouch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdellah Medjadi Boulebda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cheb Zarabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After a rather tough play, Balch Springs FC's Chadli Azzizi-Kettab got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Charles Benhamou came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Willits fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Benhamou couldn't finish the play. Abdellah Medjadi Boulebda struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Abd al-Asis Lelouch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balch Springs FC. 60 minutes into the match, Willits's goalkeeper Abd al-Asis Lelouch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cheb Zarabi. Willits's Abd al-Asis Lelouch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Willits from getting a goal against them. Mahmoud Bilal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but François Rimitti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Abdel Khaled blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without François Rimitti having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fodil Belloumi during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. During the 92nd minute of the match Fodil Belloumi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fodil Belloumi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 94th minute, Fodil Belloumi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
