In the 3rdth minute of the game Abdelaziz Abbas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elmsford AFC's Mahmoud Yahia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Chaba Madani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elmsford AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chaba Madani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antoine Khalef breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tedj Tahar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 11 minutes, Chaba Madani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elmsford AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chaba Madani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mahmoud Yahia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelaziz Abbas in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelaziz Abbas in the 21st minute of play forced Elmsford AFC's goalkeeper Mahmoud Yahia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tedj Tahar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Antoine Khalef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tedj Tahar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine Khalef having to interfere. Tedj Tahar might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antoine Khalef. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tedj Tahar ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Newport Beach booed when Elmsford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tedj Tahar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tedj Tahar to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Frantz Cohen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mahmoud Yahia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustapha Camus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chaba Madani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Antoine Khalef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute of the match Kamel Khaldi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mahmoud Yahia skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Abdelaziz Abbas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The tension between the Elmsford AFC and the Newport Beach players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Elmsford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mebarek Zeghdoud to maneuver through the defense. Abdelaziz Abbas in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mahmoud Yahia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 82 minutes into the game, Mustapha Camus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mahmoud Yahia. Mustapha Camus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Mustapha Camus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute.
