Abdelaziz Abbas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Nourredine Sofiane made a huge save. In the 7th minute of the match, Abdelaziz Abbas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nourredine Sofiane was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Mustapha Camus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newport Beach's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustapha Camus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nourredine Sofiane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cheb Mami took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antoine Khalef. Antoine Khalef dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mustapha Camus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Youssef Rimitti in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antoine Khalef prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antoine Khalef showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youssef Rimitti in the 23rd minute of the match. Antoine Khalef made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youssef Rimitti in the 24th minute of play. Abdelaziz Abbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Nourredine Sofiane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Port Sulphur FC's Nourredine Sofiane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustapha Camus in the 28th minute of play. Newport Beach's Antoine Khalef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheb Mami in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Newport Beach getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Kassel Morceli hit a great ball. After 39 minutes, Mohamed Amrouche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newport Beach and the Port Sulphur FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 39 minutes into the game, one of Newport Beach:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cheb Mami stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 65 minutes, Cheb Mami managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Port Sulphur FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cheb Mami was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antoine Khalef showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheb Mami in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelaziz Abbas in the 73rd minute of play forced Port Sulphur FC's goalkeeper Nourredine Sofiane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Youssef Rimitti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Antoine Khalef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Mustapha Camus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nourredine Sofiane. Port Sulphur FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustapha Camus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 86th minute, Newport Beach's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Youssef Rimitti fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Antoine Khalef didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cheb Mami went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. If Hachemi Nekkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Youssef Rimitti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Port Sulphur FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
