A collision led to Haviland getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Assia Fari hit a great ball. Rabah Saïdi-Sief received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mahmoud Yahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Haviland's Amine Bouteflika got a free kick in the 13th minute. Fodil Moussa, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Haviland's Rabah Saïdi-Sief got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelkader Ghazi in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mahmoud Yahia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Chakib Morceli kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Haviland's Abdelkader Ghazi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Rabah Saïdi-Sief fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Yahia having to interfere. When Mebarek Zeghdoud fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elmsford AFC's protests and gave Mebarek Zeghdoud a yellow card for diving instead. Mebarek Zeghdoud kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Hocine Zitouni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdelkader Ghazi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Mahmoud Yahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelkader Ghazi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mahmoud Yahia firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 40th minute, Elmsford AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abdelkader Ghazi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Mahmoud Yahia managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Haviland's Abdelkader Ghazi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Elmsford AFC's zone, Abdelkader Ghazi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mahmoud Yahia came out of the goal and Abdelkader Ghazi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tedj Tahar to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Abdelkader Ghazi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haviland's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelkader Ghazi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahmoud Yahia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 54 played minutes Elmsford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Chakib Morceli. When Chaba Madani came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Elmsford AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chaba Madani couldn't finish the play. In the 58thth minute of the game Tedj Tahar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haviland's Abdelhamid Meniri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Chaba Madani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elmsford AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chaba Madani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelhamid Meniri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Elmsford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rabah Saïdi-Sief came free, but Mahmoud Yahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Abdelkader Ghazi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rabah Saïdi-Sief fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Yahia having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Tedj Tahar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haviland's Abdelhamid Meniri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Haviland from getting a goal against them. Tedj Tahar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdelhamid Meniri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chaba Madani in the 93rd minute. Rabah Saïdi-Sief struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Mahmoud Yahia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haviland.
