Lazhar Amri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moulay Merzekane having to interfere. Munford's Moulay Merzekane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Munford from getting a goal against them. Amar Sofiane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amar Merzekane having to interfere. The supporters of Munford booed when Vernal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vernal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lazhar Amri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moulay Merzekane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lazhar Amri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Moulay Merzekane made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Munford's Moulay Merzekane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lazhar Amri in the 56th minute of play. The Vernal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Munford's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Moulay Merzekane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fateh Ben Khalidi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes of play, Vernal FC's Fateh Ben Khalidi made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moulay Merzekane was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Munford supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Munford would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
