Mohamed Ben Bouteflika showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasdi Camus in the 12th minute of the match. Djamel Benhamous short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Mohamed Ben Bouteflika to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Wildwood Lake FC's Houari Badis in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Bethel AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Abdelaziz Azzizi-Kettab, was totally fooled by Wildwood Lake FC's Abd al-Asis Djeziri, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Fodil Benzine fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wildwood Lake FC's protests and gave Fodil Benzine a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Yahia Belaout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bethel AFC's Abdelaziz Azzizi-Kettab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abd al-Asis Djeziri in the 81st minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Kasdi Camus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mohamed Ben Bouteflika. Wildwood Lake FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kasdi Camus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Djamel Benhamou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Ben Bouteflika having to interfere. Bethel AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 98th minute, when Houari Badis scored to the left of an out of position Abdelaziz Azzizi-Kettab, making the score, 1-3. Wildwood Lake FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
