Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mohammad Brahimi kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Littlefield booed when Sheffield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Souad Mesbah didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Sheffield's goal looked a bit too open when Hocine Kafi came free, but Mustapha Akrour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khalida Yahia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Cherrad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Noureddine Menguellet fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Littlefield's protests and gave Noureddine Menguellet a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Noureddine Menguellet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Cherrad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalida Yahia having to interfere. Mustapha Akrour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hocine Kafi in the 18th minute of play. Albert Chedda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Chedda got free with Mustapha Akrour in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 played minutes Sheffield got a freekick which was hit by Ismaël Boutabout. 21 minutes into the match, Sheffield's goal looked a bit too open when Hocine Kafi came free, but Mustapha Akrour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mohammad Brahimi came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Sheffield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohammad Brahimi couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Sheffield's zone, Hocine Kafi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustapha Akrour came out of the goal and Hocine Kafi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match Albert Chedda climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Mustapha Akrour. In the 32nd minute of the match Mahieddine Sadmi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mustapha Akrour skillfully saved the ball. Albert Chedda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mustapha Akrour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Cherrad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Khalida Yahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hocine Kafi to make the kick off. A collision led to Sheffield getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ali Touhami hit a great ball. After 68 minutes, Hocine Kafi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Littlefield and the Sheffield players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Hocine Kafi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Cherrad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Khalida Yahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noureddine Menguellet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustapha Akrour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Chedda, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Littlefield's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Mohammad Brahimi scored to the left of an out of position Khalida Yahia, making the score, 1-1. Mustapha Akrour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
