Hocine Fadela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferhat Assad went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Menlo FC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Menlo FC's Hameur Bentifour looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Redha Mezair's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodil Zakaria was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Cordele FC's goal looked a bit too open when Redha Mezair came free, but Fodil Zakaria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cordele FC's Ferhat Assad got a free kick in the 35th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferhat Assad during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ferhat Assad hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Yasmina Mehenni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferhat Assad to strike the kick off in the second half. Hameur Bentifour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodil Zakaria having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Cordele FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menad Hemdani to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the game, one of Menlo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 66thth minute of the game Ferhat Assad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menlo FC's Hocine Fadela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Yasmina Mehenni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferhat Assad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Fadela having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Hameur Bentifour got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmed Bruel hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cordele FC's Rabah Brahimi tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Menlo FC's goalkeeper Hocine Fadela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yasmina Mehenni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Fadela having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Menlo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmed Bruel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferhat Assad in the 95th minute of play forced Menlo FC's goalkeeper Hocine Fadela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Menlo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferhat Assad came free, but Hocine Fadela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Menlo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cordele FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cordele FC.
