The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fort Branch's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Bouabdellah Harkouk scored to the left of an out of position Hamid Zemmamouche, making the score, 1-0. Healdton AFC's Mustapha Boulebda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zīn ud-Dīn Fadela in the 18th minute of play. Zīn ud-Dīn Fadela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fort Branch's Hamid Zemmamouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bouabdellah Harkouk in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Fort Branch getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Hemza Abdi hit a great ball. A hard shot 38 in the game by Mohamed Boutabout from a close distance when the talented Hamid Zemmamouche managed to make a qualified save. Fort Branch's players were relieved. Bouabdellah Harkouk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamid Zemmamouche having to interfere. If Mohamed Boutabout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 45 in the game by Mohamed Boutabout from a close distance when the talented Hamid Zemmamouche managed to make a qualified save. Fort Branch's players were relieved. In the 46th match minute, Fort Branch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samir Guessoum to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zīn ud-Dīn Fadela was the one to do the kick off. Hamid Zemmamouche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bouabdellah Harkouk's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Mohamed Boutabout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Hamid Zemmamouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohamed Boutabout recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Healdton AFC's Mustapha Boulebda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zīn ud-Dīn Fadela in the 70th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Mohamed Mhenni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Healdton AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fort Branch the free kick. In the 75th minute, Mohamed Mhenni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th match minute, Healdton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farid Morceli to maneuver through the defense. Mustapha Boulebda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samir Guessoum, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mohamed Bouzid during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
