Belaid Bensaoula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Hamid Zemmamouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 10 minutes, Fodil Boumedienne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fort Branch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fodil Boumedienne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Belleville booed when Fort Branch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hemza Abdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Belleville's Rabah Zemmamouche broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Hamid Zemmamouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdel Boukensa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 23 minutes of play, Belleville's Belaid Bensaoula made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hamid Zemmamouche was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, Fort Branch's goal looked a bit too open when Belaid Bensaoula came free, but Hamid Zemmamouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Belleville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudjemaa Boufroura to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Zīn ud-Dīn Fadela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Belleville's zone, Fodil Boumedienne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rachid Belkacem came out of the goal and Fodil Boumedienne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Abdel Boukensa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamid Zemmamouche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdel Boukensa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Fort Branch getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Hemza Abdi hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zīn ud-Dīn Fadela made the kick off in the second half. If Abdel Boukensa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Belaid Bensaoula came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Belleville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belaid Bensaoula couldn't finish the play. Boudjemaa Boufroura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Hamid Zemmamouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Belleville booed when Fort Branch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samir Guessoum didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Belaid Bensaoula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fodil Boumedienne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rachid Belkacem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodil Boumedienne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Zīn ud-Dīn Fadela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Belkacem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 minutes of play, Fort Branch's Zīn ud-Dīn Fadela made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rachid Belkacem was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fort Branch fans cheered their team off the field, for while Belleville had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
