Lakhdar Ahmed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Lakhdar Ahmed made the kick off in the second half. Abdelhamid Brahmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hamid Ben Bella hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Ahmed Mecherara might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benamar Mohamed. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Waldorf's Mansour Zouba broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ahmed Mecherara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lakhdar Ahmed in the 68th minute of play forced Kaplan AFC's goalkeeper Benamar Mohamed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ahmed Mecherara came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Waldorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Mecherara couldn't finish the play. Abdelhamid Brahmi's late challenge caught a Waldorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
