Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdelaziz Megharia in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mohammad Kaci Kafi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cheb Boulmerka's late challenge caught a Polson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Somers Point's Abdelaziz Megharia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mohammad Kaci Kafi. That made the score 1-1 after 39 minutes of play. Somers Point's Antoine Ramdane got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kasdi Brahmi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 90 played minutes Somers Point got a freekick which was hit by Cheb Boulmerka. 91 minutes into the match, Somers Point's goalkeeper Mokdad Lacen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohammed Ahmed Ben Belloumi. 96 minutes into the match, Somers Point's goal looked a bit too open when Kasdi Brahmi came free, but Mokdad Lacen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
