Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lakhdar Douibi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Somers Point booed when Piney Point Village was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Redha Khabatou didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3 minutes into the game, Antoine Ramdane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Somers Point's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piney Point Village the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Somers Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoine Ramdane to maneuver through the defense. The Piney Point Village fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Piney Point Village's Nassim Benflis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Cheb Boulmerka fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Somers Point's protests and gave Cheb Boulmerka a yellow card for diving instead. Cheb Boulmerka kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Nassim Benflis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mokdad Lacen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Somers Point's Mokdad Lacen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lakhdar Douibi in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Somers Point's goal looked a bit too open when Lakhdar Douibi came free, but Mokdad Lacen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mokdad Lacen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lakhdar Douibi in the 19th minute of play. Mohamed Amara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mokdad Lacen. Somers Point's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tahar Sifi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antoine Ramdane in the 25th minute. Tahar Sifi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheb Boulmerka, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lakhdar Douibi in the 30th minute of play forced Somers Point's goalkeeper Mokdad Lacen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lakhdar Douibi in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mokdad Lacen saved Somers Point from getting behind. Hameur Bouzid charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hameur Bouzid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Somers Point's Abdelaziz Megharia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tahar Sifi. Tahar Sifi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 37th match minute, Somers Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slimane Dziri to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Piney Point Village's zone, Antoine Ramdane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tahar Sifi came out of the goal and Antoine Ramdane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Kader, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cheb Boulmerka was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 49th minute of the match Ali Kader sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mokdad Lacen skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antoine Ramdane to strike the kick off in the second half. Tahar Sifi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Slimane Dziri went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Antoine Ramdane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tahar Sifi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Nassim Benflis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nassim Benflis got free with Mokdad Lacen in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Nassim Benflis notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Somers Point's Mokdad Lacen. Mokdad Lacen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nassim Benflis took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mokdad Lacen. Mokdad Lacen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Antoine Ramdane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tahar Sifi having to make a save. Slimane Dziri charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Slimane Dziri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. It was beautiful to see Somers Point's Farid Tlemcani in action when he in the 96th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Piney Point Village's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
