In the 5th match minute, South Williamsport AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Ibrir to maneuver through the defense. Hocine Dahleb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gautier's Mustapha Madouni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Michel Mihoubi in the 15th minute of play. Ali Yahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jean Abdenouz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Assia Boudiaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jean Abdenouz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, South Williamsport AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Yahia came free, but Jean Abdenouz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Assia Boudiaf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jean Abdenouz made a huge save. When South Williamsport AFC's Hocine Dahleb in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gautier's goalie prevented a goal. Gautier's Yacine Zitouni shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jean Abdenouz but with some difficulty. After 45 played minutes Gautier got a freekick which was hit by Mourad Aït Salem. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean-Michel Mihoubi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Assia Boudiaf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gautier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Assia Boudiaf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Yahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jean Abdenouz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean Abdenouz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Yahia, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 63 minutes into the game, Hicham Matmour was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. South Williamsport AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gautier the free kick. In the 64th minute, Hicham Matmour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Ali Yahia notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of South Williamsport AFC's Jean Abdenouz. Jean Abdenouz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albert Ibrir took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mustapha Madouni. Gautier's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Jean-Michel Mihoubi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Michel Mihoubi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th match minute, Gautier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noureddine Larbes to maneuver through the defense. Mustapha Madouni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Michel Mihoubi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Yahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Abdenouz having to interfere. When Hicham Matmour was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. 97 minutes into the match, Gautier's Ali Yahia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean Abdenouz narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
