The referee ignored Chesaning AFC's protests and gave Cheb Megharia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute of the match Nordine Mansouri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Malek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Robert Achiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Malek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Hamid Temmam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chesaning AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Temmam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antoine Morceli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 41 played minutes Chesaning AFC got a freekick which was hit by Antoine Ouyahia. Ali Malek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mokdad Brahimi in the 46th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Robert Achiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Malek was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Farès Hamouda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine Morceli having to interfere. Antoine Morceli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farès Hamouda in the 60th minute of the match. Robert Achiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ali Malek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Robert Achiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ali Malek. The goal made the score 0-1. When Robert Achiu came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Skokie AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Achiu couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Mokdad Brahimi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skokie AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mokdad Brahimi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Malek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
