Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ahmed Benzine took the kick off in the first half of the match. Amrani Guendouz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Edmond fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Hamtramck. Khalida Prévost stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tayeb Kerkar. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Hamtramck's zone, Nadir Arrache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Kensi came out of the goal and Nadir Arrache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Abdel Sadmi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Hamtramck's Ahmed Yahia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tayeb Kerkar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Mohamed Ben Sadmi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes, Liamine Bezzaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hamtramck and the Edmond players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Hamtramck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liamine Bezzaz to maneuver through the defense. Edmond's Mahmoud Ahmed got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mahmoud Ahmed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mahmoud Ahmed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Kensi having to interfere. Mahmoud Ahmed charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mahmoud Ahmed the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mahmoud Ahmed kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Edmond's Tayeb Kerkar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdel Sadmi in the 61st minute of play. Tayeb Kerkar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdel Sadmi's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Mahmoud Ahmed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bouzid Zaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Kensi having to interfere. Liamine Bezzaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdel Sadmi in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tayeb Kerkar saved Edmond from getting behind. Mahmoud Ahmed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Kensi having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Hamtramck's goalkeeper Ali Kensi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mahmoud Ahmed. In the 89th minute, Khalida Prévost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Edmond's zone, Abdel Sadmi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayeb Kerkar came out of the goal and Abdel Sadmi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
