Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Oatfield's Mohammad Gaouaoui started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Oatfield's zone, Smail Malek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noureddine Harkouk came out of the goal and Smail Malek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mokdad Said received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Noureddine Harkouk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Culpeper's Smail Malek, in the 9th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Culpeper. Rafik Chedda came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Oatfield's Ahmed Kourichi. But to his dismay, Ahmed Kourichi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Culpeper's Salah Khalef got a free kick in the 15th minute. Ahmed Kourichi scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafik Chedda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahieddine Khabatou in the 28th minute of play forced Oatfield's goalkeeper Noureddine Harkouk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Oatfield's Walid Djamel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafik Chedda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Culpeper's zone, Walid Djamel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafik Chedda came out of the goal and Walid Djamel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Bendjedid Chaouchi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Culpeper's Rafik Chedda didn't even have to move. 42 minutes into the match, Culpeper's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammad Gaouaoui came free, but Rafik Chedda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Smail Malek came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Culpeper fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Smail Malek couldn't finish the play. Mokdad Said fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noureddine Harkouk having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Smail Malek made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mokdad Said got free with Noureddine Harkouk in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Smail Malek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohammad Gaouaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walid Djamel hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Noureddine Harkouk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Smail Malek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71stth minute of the game Ahmed Kourichi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Culpeper's Rafik Chedda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Oatfield booed when Culpeper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahieddine Khabatou didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes Culpeper got a freekick which was hit by Nouredine Megharia. Walid Djamel hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. With his leg Noureddine Harkouk managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Culpeper's Mokdad Said fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Oatfield's Noureddine Harkouk got control of the ball when Mokdad Said tried to sneak it across the goal line.
