Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abdelmalek Sadi started the match with the kick off. Reda Belkacem's late challenge caught a Tappan AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reda Belkacem helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes West Branch FC got a freekick which was hit by Reda Belkacem. In the 5th minute, Rabah Hadj Aïssa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Sadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tappan AFC booed when West Branch FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sid Sifi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Salah Benflis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amar Dib skillfully saved the ball. Leon Khaled received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Amar Dib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelhamid Benmabrouk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Sadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Sadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Nasri having to interfere. In the 32nd minute of the match Sid Sifi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mohamed Nasri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mohamed Nasri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdelhamid Benmabrouk went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mohamed Nasri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Reda Dib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karim Mecherara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdelmalek Sadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute of the match, Abdelmalek Sadi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amar Dib saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Karim Mecherara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelhamid Benmabrouk couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdelhamid Benmabrouk got free with Mohamed Nasri in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdelhamid Benmabrouk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Mohamed Nasri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Sadi in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mohamed Nasri saved Tappan AFC from getting behind. In the 68th minute, Abdelhamid Benmabrouk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The West Branch FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After having played for 73 minutes, Abdelhamid Benmabrouk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Branch FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelhamid Benmabrouk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohamed Nasri was a little too slow when Ali Sadi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-3. Amar Dib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelmalek Sadi in the 78th minute of play. If Karim Mecherara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 87 minutes, Rabah Hadj Aïssa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
