Rafik Assad was a little too slow when Antoine Ouadah got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-1. Tahar Yahia scored 1-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamid Mouzaoui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hamid Mouzaoui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tahar Yahia's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Tahar Yahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Springs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tahar Yahia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamid Mouzaoui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Springs FC's Rafik Assad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kateb Boutella in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Springs FC's Knodi Hima got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Antoine Ouadah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Antoine Ouadah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Springs FC's Tahar Yahia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hamid Mouzaoui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoine Ouadah in the 80th minute of play forced Springs FC's goalkeeper Rafik Assad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Abdel Hamid Dahleb was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A collision led to Cannon Falls getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Smail Ziani hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes Cannon Falls got a freekick which was hit by Smail Harkouk. The audience was convinced that Antoine Ouadah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafik Assad was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. If Antoine Ouadah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cannon Falls supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Springs FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Springs FC.
