If Antoine Ouadah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Fergani Yahia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferhat Belaout. Spirit Lake AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fergani Yahia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fergani Yahia in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferhat Belaout saved Spirit Lake AFC from getting behind. Lounès Madjer kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ferhat Belaout stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fergani Yahia's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Abdelhani Bella was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Spirit Lake AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Abdelhani Bella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hamid Mouzaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daho Faudel hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes Mustapha Bentaala shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Spirit Lake AFC's Ferhat Belaout to catch but Mustapha Bentaala was lucky. It became 0-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. In the 33rd minute, Smail Ziani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdelhani Bella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Hamid Mouzaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Smail Harkouk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cannon Falls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spirit Lake AFC the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Cannon Falls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Smail Harkouk to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute Abd al-Asis Adjaoud suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Fergani Yahia's late challenge caught a Spirit Lake AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fergani Yahia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cannon Falls's Fergani Yahia got a free kick in the 37th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Mustapha Karim Belkassem dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hamid Mouzaoui, 1-2. If Antoine Ouadah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antoine Ouadah made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Spirit Lake AFC's zone, Antoine Ouadah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferhat Belaout came out of the goal and Antoine Ouadah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferhat Belaout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoine Ouadah, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Antoine Ouadah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Khalida Bruel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamid Mouzaoui was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Antoine Ouadah took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Ferhat Belaout to make any attempt to save it. Mustapha Karim Belkassem's late challenge caught a Cannon Falls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mustapha Karim Belkassem helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as Antoine Ouadah kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferhat Belaout. That made the score 2-4 in the 78 minute of play. Cannon Falls's Antoine Ouadah got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Antoine Ouadah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustapha Karim Belkassem got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Mustapha Bentaala, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antoine Ouadah in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferhat Belaout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the game, Abdelaziz Aït Salem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spirit Lake AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cannon Falls the free kick. 94 minutes into the game, one of Spirit Lake AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
