Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) New Rochelle FC's Hamid Kouri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save New Rochelle FC from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute, Khalida Benida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The New Rochelle FC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when New Rochelle FC's Abdelmalek El Ouafi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cheikha Hima might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mustapha Zeghdoud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cheikha Hima ran back to his position shaking his head. Cheikha Hima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Scotia booed when New Rochelle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nourredine Boudiaf didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind New Rochelle FC's goalkeeper Hamid Kouri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, New Rochelle FC's Hamid Kouri got control of the ball when Kamel Madouni tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Khalida Benida came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Scotia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Khalida Benida couldn't finish the play. The supporters of New Rochelle FC booed when Scotia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daho Dziri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Scotia's zone, Cheikha Hima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustapha Zeghdoud came out of the goal and Cheikha Hima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Larbi Bahari during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Larbi Bahari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kamel Madouni was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hamid Kouri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kamel Madouni in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Abdelmalek El Ouafi managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Rochelle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelmalek El Ouafi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustapha Zeghdoud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cheikha Hima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kamel Madouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hamid Kouri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half New Rochelle FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Khalida Benida made a kick off. Mustapha Zeghdoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheikha Hima in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Abdelmalek El Ouafi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mustapha Zeghdoud. Abdelmalek El Ouafi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 74th minute, Daho Dziri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Scotia's zone, Cheikha Hima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustapha Zeghdoud came out of the goal and Cheikha Hima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdelmalek Mami kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Mustapha Zeghdoud acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Noureddine Otman. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Cheikha Hima managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Rochelle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cheikha Hima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustapha Zeghdoud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kamel Madouni struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Hamid Kouri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scotia. After 90 minutes of play, Scotia's Kamel Madouni made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hamid Kouri was left in no man's land by his defense there! After taking down the ball on Scotia's corner Samir Bensaïd fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hamid Kouri quite easily take care of the ball.
