Abdelaziz Sifi might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hocine Bourebbou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdelaziz Sifi ran back to his position shaking his head. Rabah Yahi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cheb Bendjedid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cheb Bendjedid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rabah Yahi in the 33rd minute of the match. If Rafik Zoheir Zenia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafik Zoheir Zenia in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hocine Bourebbou saved Wauseon FC from getting behind. When Abdelhani Camus came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Throop AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelhani Camus couldn't finish the play. In the 40thth minute of the game Abdelaziz Sifi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wauseon FC's Hocine Bourebbou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Fodil Harkouk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fodil Harkouk in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cheb Bendjedid, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half Throop AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Throop AFC booed when Wauseon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakim Djamel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Rabah Yahi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cheb Bendjedid was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Hameur Medjani charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Wauseon FC's Madhi Reda Madouni got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
