Abderrachid Soltani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mourad Bouziane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Merzekane having to interfere. Ahmed Benhamou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderrachid Soltani having to interfere. Yacine Daham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Merzekane having to interfere. Mourad Bouziane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Merzekane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karim Madouni in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abderrachid Soltani saved Mount Healthy Heights from getting behind. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yacine Daham was the one to do the kick off. Ismael Merzekane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yacine Daham, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Karim Madouni fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Needles's protests and gave Karim Madouni a yellow card for diving instead. Karim Madouni hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Yacine Daham sped through Needles's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ismael Merzekane. Mohamed Lamine Kab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderrachid Soltani having to interfere. If Karim Madouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mourad Khalef's late challenge caught a Needles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mourad Khalef helped the player get up and apologised. Needles's Madhi Belkhadem shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Abderrachid Soltani but with some difficulty. A collision led to Mount Healthy Heights getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Camel Sellal hit a great ball. Ahmed Benhamou in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abderrachid Soltani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 84th play minutes Karim Madouni shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Abderrachid Soltani and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mount Healthy Heights's zone, Karim Madouni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abderrachid Soltani came out of the goal and Karim Madouni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Assia Saïd-Guerni fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Needles's protests and gave Assia Saïd-Guerni a yellow card for diving instead. Assia Saïd-Guerni kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Needles's zone, Mourad Bouziane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Merzekane came out of the goal and Mourad Bouziane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 92nd minute of the match Karim Madouni completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Karim Madouni a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 96th minute, Ahmed Benhamou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Needles walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
