With 4 minutes on the clock, Hameur Amirouche commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 5th match minute, Tarentum AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hameur Amirouche to maneuver through the defense. South Congaree AFC's Farid Mouzaoui got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kasdi Zemmamouche's late challenge caught a South Congaree AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kasdi Zemmamouche helped the player get up and apologised. Kasdi Zemmamouche kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Farid Mouzaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Farid Mouzaoui scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hocine Drioueche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hocine Drioueche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdellah Medjadi Bitat in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tarentum AFC's Anther Bouazza got a free kick in the 35th minute. Hocine Drioueche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdellah Medjadi Bitat's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute, Farid Mouzaoui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Abdellah Medjadi Bitat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hocine Drioueche was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Noureddine Larfaoui made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Abd al-Aziz Maroc sent off a good shot on target. After the first half South Congaree AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Abdellah Medjadi Bitat made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abd al-Aziz Maroc in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noureddine Larfaoui prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hocine Drioueche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdellah Medjadi Bitat's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Hocine Drioueche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdellah Medjadi Bitat in the 56th minute of play. Farid Mouzaoui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Farid Mouzaoui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hocine Drioueche. Tarentum AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Farid Mouzaoui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The supporters of South Congaree AFC booed when Tarentum AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mourad Bentifour didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Abdellah Medjadi Bitat came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the South Congaree AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdellah Medjadi Bitat couldn't finish the play. Farid Mouzaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Hocine Drioueche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdellah Medjadi Bitat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Abd al-Aziz Maroc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarentum AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abd al-Aziz Maroc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noureddine Larfaoui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hocine Drioueche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Farid Mouzaoui in the 88th minute. Abdellah Medjadi Bitat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Hocine Drioueche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Abdellah Medjadi Bitat came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the South Congaree AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdellah Medjadi Bitat couldn't finish the play. The South Congaree AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing South Congaree AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
