After a rather tough play, Hanamaulu's Said Asma got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Nourredine Raï could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Djamel Schoonmaker made a huge save. The supporters of Glen Carbon booed when Hanamaulu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Said Asma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehdi Mazzid took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Djamel Schoonmaker. Hanamaulu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mourad Djebar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Meniri, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Nourredine Raï blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Djamel Schoonmaker having to make a save. 23 minutes into the game, Abdelhamid Sad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hanamaulu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glen Carbon the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Hanamaulu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelhamid Sad to maneuver through the defense. Nourredine Raï sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmed Meniri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Nourredine Raï ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Djamel Schoonmaker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Souad Saïdi-Sief had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Souad Saïdi-Sief in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Djamel Schoonmaker prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Nourredine Raï struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Djamel Schoonmaker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glen Carbon. Hanamaulu's Djamel Schoonmaker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Souad Saïdi-Sief in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Glen Carbon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hocine Macias to maneuver through the defense. Karim Ali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mourad Djebar having to interfere. If Karim Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mourad Djebar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karim Ali showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 64 minute of play. The supporters of Glen Carbon booed when Hanamaulu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Ali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hanamaulu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmed Meniri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Hanamaulu's Ahmed Meniri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mourad Djebar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Mohamed Ben Khalidi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glen Carbon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hanamaulu the free kick. In the 85th minute, Mohamed Ben Khalidi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Glen Carbon getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Mohamed Ben Khalidi hit a great ball. If Karim Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Souad Saïdi-Sief hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Glen Carbon's Mourad Djebar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Ali in the 94th minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, Glen Carbon's Nourredine Raï made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Djamel Schoonmaker was left in no man's land by his defense there! Glen Carbon were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hanamaulu for a fine match.
