Nassim Benmabrouk struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Djamel Schoonmaker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palestine. Djamel Schoonmaker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalida Mecherara in the 9th minute of play. Said Asma hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Nassim Benmabrouk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Karim Ali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, Hanamaulu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Said Asma to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Karim Ali reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Safy Hadj Aïssa. The goal made the score 1-1. 24 minutes into the game, Hanamaulu's Ahmed Meniri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Safy Hadj Aïssa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Mustapha Drioueche kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Palestine's Safy Hadj Aïssa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Ali in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Palestine's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Ali came free, but Safy Hadj Aïssa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Djamel Schoonmaker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nassim Benmabrouk's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Khalida Mecherara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djamel Schoonmaker having to interfere. Karim Ali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Safy Hadj Aïssa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmed Meniri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nassim Benmabrouk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Djamel Schoonmaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Ali in the 47th minute of play forced Palestine's goalkeeper Safy Hadj Aïssa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karim Ali was the one to do the kick off. Safy Hadj Aïssa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Hanamaulu's Nassim Sennaoui got a free kick in the 66th minute. Khalida Mecherara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Djamel Schoonmaker made a huge save. After 70 minutes of play, Hanamaulu's Karim Ali made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Safy Hadj Aïssa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nassim Benmabrouk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Djamel Schoonmaker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Hanamaulu's Ahmed Meniri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Safy Hadj Aïssa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 89 played minutes Palestine got a freekick which was hit by Hamza Achiu. Safy Hadj Aïssa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Meniri in the 92nd minute of the match. Khalida Mecherara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djamel Schoonmaker having to interfere. Hanamaulu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
