The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Country Club Hills's zone, Albert Amri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdel Boutabout came out of the goal and Albert Amri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Country Club Hills's Maïssa Matoub got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. René Bouchemla hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Maïssa Matoub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mimoun Mohand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Albert Amri fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wetumpka's protests and gave Albert Amri a yellow card for diving instead. Albert Amri kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Wetumpka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karim Semghoun to maneuver through the defense. Mourad Khalef kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Mimoun Mohand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maïssa Matoub, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Maïssa Matoub might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mimoun Mohand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maïssa Matoub ran back to his position shaking his head. Wetumpka's Mimoun Mohand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Wetumpka from getting a goal against them. Abdel Boutabout stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Amri's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. If Albert Amri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Country Club Hills's Abdel Boutabout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Amri in the 37th minute of play. Albert Amri struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Abdel Boutabout didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wetumpka. If Fergani Souakri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mourad Souakri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albert Amri made a kick off. Mimoun Mohand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mourad Souakri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mourad Souakri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mimoun Mohand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelmalek Chaouchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maïssa Matoub in the 56th minute of play forced Wetumpka's goalkeeper Mimoun Mohand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maïssa Matoub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mimoun Mohand having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Country Club Hills got a freekick which was hit by Tahar Hamid Brahima. Fergani Souakri in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abdel Boutabout, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 65 in the game by Fergani Souakri from a close distance when the talented Abdel Boutabout managed to make a qualified save. Country Club Hills's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mourad Souakri in the 68th minute of play forced Wetumpka's goalkeeper Mimoun Mohand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Albert Amri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mourad Souakri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mimoun Mohand having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Mourad Souakri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
