The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nassim Kerkar's late challenge caught a Draper's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Larbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fodil Sad in the 24th minute of play. Fodil Sad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Larbi having to interfere. François Bellemou Messaoud blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Larbi having to make a save. After 42 played minutes, Draper's Hakim Baroudi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ali Daham came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Draper reached it. In the 48th minute, Myerstown's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tayeb Adjani fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fodil Sad made a kick off. A hard shot 55 in the game by François Bellemou Messaoud from a close distance when the talented Ali Larbi managed to make a qualified save. Draper's players were relieved. François Bellemou Messaoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ali Larbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Daham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tayeb Adjani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Daham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohammad Kaci Mansouri, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Myerstown's Ali Daham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayeb Adjani in the 82nd minute of play. Ali Larbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fodil Sad, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Nasser Bridji hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Tayeb Adjani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Daham having to interfere.
