Mahmoud Bensaïd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mourad Diss, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Yacine Mérah-Benida ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mourad Diss in the 85th minute of play forced Morton's goalkeeper Mahmoud Bensaïd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Yacine Mérah-Benida made a precise shot to the right of Mahmoud Bensaïd. Morton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Mohammed Oussalah was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Samir Schoonmaker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
