Reda Sami Yachir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jussef Ben Abrika tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chadli Fadela during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to St. Joseph FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Chadli Fadela hit a great ball. If Reda Sami Yachir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelnasser Akrour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jussef Ben Abrika having to interfere. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind St. Joseph FC's goalkeeper Jussef Ben Abrika, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abdelnasser Akrour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mouloud Mekhloufi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismaïl El Ouafi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Alain Morceli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismaïl El Ouafi having to interfere. Cleves's Ismaïl El Ouafi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alain Morceli in the 21st minute of play. St. Joseph FC's Alain Morceli got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelnasser Akrour might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jussef Ben Abrika. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdelnasser Akrour ran back to his position shaking his head. After 29 minutes, Boudjemaa Saïfi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cleves and the St. Joseph FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Boudjemaa Saïfi kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Jussef Ben Abrika showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelnasser Akrour in the 31st minute of the match. Jussef Ben Abrika came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cleves's Reda Sami Yachir. But to his dismay, Reda Sami Yachir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Reda Sami Yachir struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jussef Ben Abrika didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cleves. Djamel Sifi charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Djamel Sifi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Djamel Sifi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Reda Sami Yachir came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cleves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reda Sami Yachir couldn't finish the play. Cleves's Ismaïl El Ouafi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alain Morceli in the 42nd minute of play. Mouloud Mekhloufi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mouloud Mekhloufi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reda Sami Yachir might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jussef Ben Abrika. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reda Sami Yachir ran back to his position shaking his head. Hachemi Oussalah hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Hachemi Oussalah kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jussef Ben Abrika showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reda Sami Yachir in the 58th minute of the match. When Souad Madjer fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored St. Joseph FC's protests and gave Souad Madjer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, St. Joseph FC's Souad Madjer got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 65th minute Boudjemaa Saïfi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jussef Ben Abrika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in St. Joseph FC's zone, Abdelnasser Akrour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jussef Ben Abrika came out of the goal and Abdelnasser Akrour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Abdelnasser Akrour who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but St. Joseph FC's Jussef Ben Abrika was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mounir Cohen-Tannoudji took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jussef Ben Abrika. St. Joseph FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Reda Sami Yachir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Mouloud Mekhloufi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cleves had won after a very even match.
