Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mohammed Djebar kicked off to start the match. When Fodil Morceli came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Wellsburg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fodil Morceli couldn't finish the play. Kamel Cerbah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daho Besseghir's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Khair ad-Din Kafi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Rabah Zéroual, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Mohammed Djebar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Morehead City AFC's zone, Fodil Morceli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamel Cerbah came out of the goal and Fodil Morceli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kamel Cerbah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Adjaoud in the 20th minute of the match. Mohammed Djebar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brahim Feraoun having to interfere. Brahim Feraoun acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mokdad Abrika. If Mohammed Djebar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st match minute, Wellsburg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohammed Adjaoud to maneuver through the defense. Mohammed Djebar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mohammed Djebar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Ali Adjaoud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kamel Cerbah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Ahmed Abdenouz charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmed Abdenouz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Morehead City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Abdenouz. Rabah Zéroual was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Edmond Ahmed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wellsburg FC's Brahim Feraoun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammed Djebar in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Daho Besseghir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 74 minutes, Fodil Morceli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wellsburg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fodil Morceli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brahim Feraoun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammed Djebar in the 76th minute of play. When Medjadi Bezzaz fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wellsburg FC's protests and gave Medjadi Bezzaz a yellow card for diving instead. Medjadi Bezzaz kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Edmond Ahmed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brahim Feraoun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ali Adjaoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Khair ad-Din Kafi kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Kamel Cerbah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Adjaoud, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Ali Adjaoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamel Cerbah having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wellsburg FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
