But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jussef Madjer couldn't finish the play. After 16 played minutes Manitou Springs got a freekick which was hit by Ismaël Moussa. After 19 played minutes Manitou Springs got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Massi. A collision led to Smyrna getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Samir Adjani hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Jussef Madjer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdelhamid Brahami. Manitou Springs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jussef Madjer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jussef Madjer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelhamid Brahami having to interfere. Samir Amri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Ali Bitat skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 36th minute, Cheb Zarabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jussef Madjer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Salah Horr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 played minutes Manitou Springs got a freekick which was hit by Fodil Mansouri. Abdelhamid Brahami stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jussef Madjer's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Fodil Mansouri charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fodil Mansouri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Manitou Springs's Fodil Mansouri got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Jussef Madjer came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Smyrna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jussef Madjer couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Manitou Springs booed when Smyrna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cheb Zarabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yacine Laref, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ali Bitat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faouzi Labi went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Manitou Springs's Abdelhamid Brahami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jussef Madjer in the 93rd minute of play. Jussef Madjer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelhamid Brahami having to interfere. After 96 minutes, Camel Mouzaoui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manitou Springs and the Smyrna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Camel Mouzaoui hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Manitou Springs support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
