The attack was good, but when Rachid Benbitour in the 10th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Fodil Hamdoud struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Djamal Dahleb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gahanna. 13 minutes into the game, Abdel Karim Ouyahia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Gahanna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
