Sid Ahmed Mohamed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehdi Djebar in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Downingtown AFC booed when Lakeland Village FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frantz Akrour didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sid Ahmed Mohamed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehdi Djebar, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehdi Djebar in the 29th minute of play forced Lakeland Village FC's goalkeeper Sid Ahmed Mohamed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mehdi Djebar made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Lakeland Village FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mehdi Djebar came free, but Sid Ahmed Mohamed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Mehdi Djebar sped through Lakeland Village FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sid Ahmed Mohamed. If Frantz Akrour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Downingtown AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
