Rachid Liegeon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yacine Hamruche's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Rabah Madouni acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Amar Yacef. After 22 played minutes, Exeter AFC's Mehdi Meniri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rabah Madouni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Exeter AFC reached it. Mohamed Benarbia walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The referee gave Exeter AFC a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abdelmalek Bey, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of West Elmira's Rabah Madouni. 1-0. After 38 minutes of play, West Elmira's Larbi Fergani made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rachid Liegeon was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Mourad Moussaoui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute, Mourad Moussaoui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rabah Madouni was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mustapha Belkheir to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, West Elmira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohammed Ahmed Said to maneuver through the defense. Abdelmalek Bey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th match minute, West Elmira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salah Gourion to maneuver through the defense. Mustapha Belkheir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rabah Madouni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Larbi Fergani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Liegeon having to interfere. If Yacine Hamruche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mustapha Belkheir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustapha Belkheir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mourad Moussaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabah Madouni having to interfere. After a rather tough play, West Elmira's Salah Gourion got a free kick in the 85th minute. Salah Gourion kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Exeter AFC were awarded a corner. Abdelmalek Bey went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Abdelmalek Bey got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rabah Madouni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 93rd minute, Mustapha Belkheir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rabah Madouni was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 99th match minute, Exeter AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Meniri to maneuver through the defense.
