Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Penns Grove's Cheikha Bentaala started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Cheikha Kourichi came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Penns Grove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cheikha Kourichi couldn't finish the play. In the 10th match minute, Penns Grove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Benida to maneuver through the defense. Boudjemaa Zidān fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djabir Nabil having to interfere. Smail Ahmed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheikha Kourichi in the 16th minute of play. If Cheikha Bentaala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Djabir Nabil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafik Ibrir in the 22nd minute of the match. Karim Aggoune sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cheikha Bentaala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boudjemaa Zidān could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Djabir Nabil made a huge save. Cheikha Kourichi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Smail Ahmed read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafik Ibrir to strike the kick off in the second half. Penns Grove's Djabir Nabil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boudjemaa Zidān in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Penns Grove booed when Elizabethton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lakhdar Lacarne didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Elizabethton FC's goalkeeper Smail Ahmed had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cheikha Kourichi. Djabir Nabil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafik Ibrir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Djabir Nabil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafik Ibrir in the 63rd minute of the match. Cheikha Kourichi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 played minutes, Elizabethton FC's Moulay Reda Madouni shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Djabir Nabil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Elizabethton FC reached it. In the 86th minute, Boudjemaa Zidān ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Djabir Nabil was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Djabir Nabil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boudjemaa Zidān in the 92nd minute of the match. Djabir Nabil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boudjemaa Zidān, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Penns Grove defense, Boudjemaa Zidān kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Djabir Nabil. The Penns Grove fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Djabir Nabil should have stopped the shot. Elizabethton FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
