Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Faouzi Medjiba started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Barnum Island's Cheikha Zaaboub got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Cheikha Zaaboub left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barnum Island fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 19th minute Rafik Ibrir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amar Doutté saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hocine Zerara during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barnum Island's Hocine Zerara got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Barnum Island's goal looked a bit too open when Rafik Ibrir came free, but Amar Doutté reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boudjemaa Zidān's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amar Doutté read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Barnum Island was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hocine Zerara to maneuver through the defense. Boudjemaa Zidān received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Amar Doutté tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Elizabethton FC's Rafik Ibrir in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barnum Island's goalie prevented a goal. If Rafik Ibrir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amar Doutté made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boudjemaa Zidān in the 36th minute of play. Amar Doutté took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boudjemaa Zidān, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Barnum Island getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Medjadi Banouas hit a great ball. Amar Doutté showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafik Ibrir in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elizabethton FC's goalkeeper Smail Ahmed, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a little luck, Barnum Island's Amar Doutté got control of the ball when Boudjemaa Zidān tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amar Doutté came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Elizabethton FC's Rafik Ibrir. But to his dismay, Rafik Ibrir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Amar Doutté was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Moulay Reda Madouni. Barnum Island's Amar Doutté played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafik Ibrir in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Cheikha Zaaboub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Smail Ahmed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faouzi Medjiba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Faouzi Medjiba came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Barnum Island fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faouzi Medjiba couldn't finish the play. Elizabethton FC's Boudjemaa Zidān got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barnum Island's goalkeeper Amar Doutté, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Smail Ahmed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheikha Zaaboub in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Boudjemaa Zidān managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elizabethton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boudjemaa Zidān was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
