Billel Ouyahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansour Zerara having to interfere. Hamid Amara was a little too slow when Knodi Boutabout got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-1. A collision led to Brooksville FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Anther Benhamou hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Abd al-Asis Madjer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamid Amara was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Mansour Zerara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khair ad-Din Nasri in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Khair ad-Din Nasri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mansour Zerara. That made the score 2-2 in the 52 minute of play.
