If Khalida Bensaoula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walid Ali was the one to do the kick off. Mohamed Amara's late challenge caught a San Marino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohamed Amara helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pitcairn FC's Mohamed Amara got a free kick in the 57th minute. Pitcairn FC's Salah Mehenni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalida Bensaoula in the 63rd minute of play. Mohamed Amara kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Abderraouf Amrouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute.
