Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zoheir Cherrad made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the game, Safy Rahouli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fodil Amri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Calexico AFC's zone, Slimane Benarbia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salim Merah-Benida came out of the goal and Slimane Benarbia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zoheir Cherrad struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Salim Merah-Benida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ocean Shores AFC. After 15 played minutes Calexico AFC got a freekick which was hit by Knodi Ziani. Assia Otman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Fodil Amri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ocean Shores AFC's Fodil Amri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Safy Rahouli in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Safy Rahouli in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodil Amri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Assia Otman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodil Amri having to interfere. Fodil Amri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Assia Otman went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 46 minutes into the game, Safy Rahouli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Fodil Amri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Safy Rahouli made a kick off. In the 54th minute, René Saïfi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodil Amri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Safy Rahouli, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Salim Merah-Benida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoheir Cherrad in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Calexico AFC's Assia Otman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodil Amri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zoheir Cherrad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Assia Otman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Fodil Amri made a huge save. Fodil Amri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Assia Otman went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Zoheir Cherrad took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salim Merah-Benida. Salim Merah-Benida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Zoheir Cherrad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calexico AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
