Abdellah Medjadi Mammeri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmed Hima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. If Nourredine Rimitti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdellah Medjadi Mammeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abdelnacer Saïdi-Sief scored 1-0 in the 49th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mohamed Semghoun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Nourredine Rimitti made the kick off in the second half. Abdellah Medjadi Mammeri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Fadel Djura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abdellah Medjadi Mammeri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Messaoud got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Abdelnacer Saïdi-Sief had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. South Boston FC's Abdel Karim Djahnine got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Abdelnacer Saïdi-Sief had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Pittsburgh FC's goal looked a bit too open when Soltani Yahia came free, but Ahmed Hima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Pittsburgh FC got a freekick which was hit by Abdelaziz Tlemcani. After having played for 87 minutes, Fadhil Djebbour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Boston FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fadhil Djebbour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
