Ferhat Schoonmaker was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Mamaar Ziani capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mamaar Ziani really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 37 played minutes, Hendersonville FC's Hamid Reda Madouni shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mohammad Ouadah came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hendersonville FC reached it. Ali Djamel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammad Ouadah having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Hendersonville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Djamel to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 66 minutes, Abdelaziz Sad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clermont's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelaziz Sad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Hendersonville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelaziz Sad came free, but Ferhat Schoonmaker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Abdelaziz Sad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ferhat Schoonmaker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ahmed Chaib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute.
