The audience was convinced that Robert Mamouni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chakib Benhabiles was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Rachid Morceli hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 2-0 became the score in the 20th minute when Nordine Fillali elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Chakib Benhabiles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Cherfa in the 24th minute of play. Chakib Benhabiles came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Greensburg FC's Robert Mamouni. But to his dismay, Robert Mamouni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brahim Belhadj during the 31st minute. In the 79th minute, Nordine Fillali ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fadel Bensaoula was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Greensburg FC's Fadel Bensaoula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nordine Fillali in the 86th minute of play. Tayeb Maroc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fadel Bensaoula having to interfere. Chakib Benhabiles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Cherfa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
