Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tayeb Drid started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Yazid Mérah-Benida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayeb Drid, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute, Ismael Saïfi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carrizo Springs FC's Abd al-Asis Ramdani couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Effingham. Samir Belhagj might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yazid Mérah-Benida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samir Belhagj ran back to his position shaking his head. Kamel Zerara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kamel Benchenaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samir Belhagj's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Yazid Mérah-Benida skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tayeb Drid's late challenge caught a Carrizo Springs FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tayeb Drid helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute Mouloud Mimoun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamel Benchenaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Effingham's Tayeb Drid got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kamel Benchenaa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rachid Laref, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes, Abderaouf Mamouni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrizo Springs FC and the Effingham players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Carrizo Springs FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Abderaouf Mamouni hit a great ball. Kamel Benchenaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mouloud Mimoun in the 43rd minute of play. Mouloud Mimoun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Carrizo Springs FC's Abd al-Asis Ramdani couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Effingham. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mouloud Mimoun was the one to do the kick off. Effingham's Samir Belhagj got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Carrizo Springs FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Mounir Benflis hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Mouloud Mimoun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kamel Benchenaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mouloud Mimoun in the 70th minute of play. If Tayeb Drid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Mouloud Mimoun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kamel Benchenaa. Mouloud Mimoun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. 94 minutes into the match, Effingham's Tayeb Drid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yazid Mérah-Benida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carrizo Springs FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
